Troubleshooting installation problems:

This program requires an IBM-PC or compatible machine with 640K of
RAM and DOS 2.0 or higher. The Windows version requires Windows 3.1
or later.

To install the Windows version of the Texas Instruments Linear Selection
Guide, from the Windows Program Manager File menu, select Run, then type
"A:\setup.exe" or "B:\setup.exe". Please be sure to close all other appli-
cations before starting "setup".

To install the DOS version of the Selection Guide to drive C, in a direc-
tory called "TI", type "INSTALL C TI", then press the Enter key. To install
the software to another drive and/or directory, use the syntax: "INSTALL
drivename directory". DO NOT include the colon or backslash with drivename.
If you are installing the DOS version under the Windows Program Manager, you
will not see the DOS screen that gives instructions when incomplete para-
meters are used.

To install the linear SPICE macromodels, type "MINSTALL drivename direc-
tory", then press the Enter key.
